UH’s Division of Energy and Innovation honored faculty innovators at a luncheon celebrating research, entrepreneurship, and real-world impact through innovation.

The University of Houston’s Office of Technology Transfer and Innovation has expanded its leadership team to strengthen support for faculty innovation and increase societal impact. With new directors in licensing, industry engagement, and intellectual property, OTTI aims to accelerate commercialization, build partnerships, and empower UH researchers to bring their discoveries to life.

After a strong second-place finish at the AIChE Southwest Regional Conference, the University of Houston’s Chem-E Car Team is headed to nationals this fall in Boston. Revived after years of inactivity, the team overcame technical and travel hurdles to earn their spot and is now focused on refining their innovative, chemically powered car for the national stage.
