Seminar Schedule Spring 2026

The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Houston offers seminars on most Friday mornings, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, during the fall and spring semesters.

We support both in-person and virtual seminars.  Check the format of individual seminars on the schedule below.  In-person seminars will be held in Room 634, S&R1, unless otherwise noted.  To participate in virtual seminars, use Zoom Meeting ID: 829 1660 9186 and Passcode 764132.  The same code will work for all virtual seminars.  Seminars are not offered in hybrid format.

Lunch is held after seminar to facilitate interactions between all members of EAS, guests, and the speaker.  Lunch will be held in Rm 223 unless otherwise noted.  40 tickets are available at seminar for those who wish to attend lunch.  See the seminar host or the TA for a ticket while they last.

For more information regarding how to host seminars, please visit the seminars resource page.

The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Seminar Series is supported by a generous gift from Shell.
