Forms & Documents

Financial Aid Forms

To request additional financial aid in the form of loans, students must complete the Learning Abroad Financial Aid form, submit it to their Learning Abroad advisor, and then turn it in to UH Financial Aid. Students can get additional aid if they have remaining funds from that academic year and if they are going on a program abroad for credit. Additional details and restrictions may apply on a case by case basis. Please talk to your advisor and UH Financial Aid for more information.

Global Citizens Credential

Students who complete a learning abroad program are encouraged to complete their Global Citizens Credential! The Global Citizens Credential (GCC) is an undergraduate program offered at the University of Houston that recognizes students for global learning activities (such as global courses, language proficiency, learning abroad, global scholarly work, and/or intercultural activities) and awards its graduates with a transcript credential, certificate, and honor cord. The GCC is a good resume-builder and helps students stand-out when applying to jobs, graduate school, and competitive international scholarships. The program also encourages students to be more active global citizens and make a greater impact in their community. For more information about the GCC program, please visit the website or contact uhglobal@uh.edu.
