Donna Vallone
Owner
Tony's Restaurant and Catering
Donna Vallone earned a bachelor of music from the University of Houston and began her 14-year professional career as a music teacher for Houston Independent School District. During her final three years in this role, she taught children with special needs at T.H. Rogers School.
Married to renowned restaurateur, Tony Vallone, for more than 36 years, Vallone was always by his side in life and in business. Together, they were co-owners of Tony’s, in Greenway Plaza. When Tony passed away in 2020, Vallone took the reins of Tony’s and continues to work vigorously, keeping her beloved husband’s legacy and vision alive through culinary arts. They recognize the same dedication to service that he held as a standard at his flagship restaurant. Tony’s will celebrate its 60th year anniversary on April 1, 2025.
Vallone is extremely active in the Houston community, serving on several boards and advisory committees. She sits on the Hilton College Dean’s Advisory Board, the Theatre Under the Stars Board and Friends of Nursing at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center Board.
Passionate about life, love, and family, Vallone holds her husband Tony and their family at the center of everything she does. Music is another deep love of hers—she enjoys singing and regularly attends music-inspired events throughout Houston. A proud 17-year breast cancer survivor, she actively advocates for early detection. Vallone often shares that “a mammogram saved my life,” and has since become a strong champion for annual screening checkups.
