Biographical Summary

Charles Nathan is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Houston specializing in political theory. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Duke University in 2023. His research examines the politics of nostalgia, populism, and the urban/rural divide in the history of political thought and contemporary politics. His work has been published or accepted in the American Political Science Review, History of Political Thought, Theory & Event, Political Behavior, American Politics Research, Contemporary Political Theory, and Political Theory.
