Dr. Jason Theriot will present, "The Public History Path" at the CPH Lecture Series Event on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 4:00-5:30pm at Agnes Arnold Hall, Room 210.  

Dr. Theriot recieved his Ph.D. in History from the University of Houston. He is an energy and environmental historian and consultant and a former Energy Policy Fellow at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

He has written and researched on the topics of the historical dynamics of oil and gas development, environmental policies, and restoration activities in the Gulf Coast, some of which can be read in American Energy, Imperiled Coast: Oil and Gas Development in Louisiana’s Wetlands (LSU Press, 2014). 

Additionally, his consulting firm, Jason P. Theriot LLC. offers historical reserach and writing services in litigation support, memoris, and company histories. Dr. Theriot also conducts speaking engagements on energy history, environmental policy, cultural heritage, amongst other topics related to the Gulf Coast.
