Call for Abstracts for the Caribbean Energy Policy, Societies, and Law Conference

The Faculty of Law & Institute of Gender & Development Studies (IGDS) University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus in collaboration with the University of Houston’s Graduate Certificate in Global Energy, Development, and Sustainability (GEDS) & The University of Houston Law Center’s Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Center will host the “Caribbean Energy Policy, Societies, and Law Conference” Thursday October 4, 2018 at the University Inn and Conference Centre. They are currently calling for abstracts to be considered for the conference until August 15. 2018.             

The conference is multidisciplinary; academics, researchers, industry executives, regulators, members of civil society groups, and students can discuss the history and future of energy production use within the Caribbean context. See flyer for additional information, such as example topics for papers and other areas of interest the conference will highlight.

Submission Deadline: August 15th 2018
Requirements: No more than 200 words, email to both Alicia Elias-Roberts (Alicia.elias-roberts@sta.uwi.edu) and Dr. Rebecca Golden Timsar (rlgolden@central.uh.edu)
