Copy and Print FAQ
Per MAPP 04.01.01, offset printing services provided by Copy and Print department do not require competitive binding at any dollar amount and do not require a purchasing requisition.
Additionally, offset printing services costing at least $15,000 ($3,500 on federal funds) must be submitted to Purchasing on a purchase requisition for competitive bidding or may be provided by Copy and Print department without competitive bids.
Yes, our practice is to deliver your print jobs once completed and based on your instructions.
We handle all payments in partnership with our Business Office. Payment for your print jobs is processed by a journal entry. At the time of ordering, we require your cost center. For certain jobs, an invoice will be created and sent to the corresponding department for payment. We also accept payments via P-cards.

The Portable Document Format (PDF) is generally the preferred file format for submitting a document for printing as it works with virtually all professional printing and digital output devices. By design, a PDF file incorporates the information needed to maintain document consistency from system to system. Most other file formats such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Word are easily converted to PDF format.
